I didn't know how to work the camera before Muench showed us the buttons, but they ended up being really simple and easy to remember. Once I had the camera in my hand I chose the bird plushie, thinking I could put it into a tree and figure it out from there. I tried to make it look like the bird was trying to climb up to the top of the tree, then he falls out, which is supposed to be funny because he's a bird. Once I got back to my computer and watched the clips, they all looked the same and it was so boring. Trying to make it less boring to watch, I added black and white when the bird fell. I also added the Grand Theft Auto wasted logo and sound when birdie hits the ground, which makes me laugh causing the video to not be as cringe worthy. Editing was pretty easy figuring out the basics, but I need to know more. 

My second plushie was decent. Adding a person into the story made it clearer and easier to follow. Using a camera, uploading, and editing was all much easier because I had done it once before. I knew how to do more things on final cut pro like edits, music, and titles. 

Brian Gawlik

      — was a teacher here at Burr and Burton Academy for many years. He taught cinematography and was an inspiration to all of his students. He sadly died from leukemia at a young age, leaving behind the legacy of the Gawlik Awards, an awards show to showcase the work of film students at BBA.

   Named after Brian Gawlik, this room is used for writing and a place to think.

Jonathon Levin

    Was a teacher who was brutally murdered by one of his students. This wing of the Smith Center is named after him, because his parents gave money to the school. This led to the hiring of Brian Gawlik.

BBA News Room

     The news room has now been converted into the greenscreen room, which is used for special effects films. Can also be called the studio.
